In December of 2014, University House Lake Road underwent a change in ownership, and with that, Republic at Sam Houston was born. Everyone here at Republic at Sam Houston is excited to share the changes we have planned for you, the students at SHSU, including introducing our award-winning Students First™ program and some exciting updates around the property. When Campus Advantage took over Republic at Sam Houston, our first priority was to present the community with rebranded and renamed student apartments that speak to you—the students our community is designed for! After speaking with students at Sam Houston State University, it was important to us to capture the Texas spirit that you all represent and present it in such a way that you’re proud to call this home. We found inspiration in Texas tradition and history, looking back at Sam Houston himself and soon, Republic at Sam Houston was named and took on an identity of its own. In addition to renaming the property, you may have noticed our newly designed signage around the property and our awesome new logo, but that’s not all we’ve changed.
